The San Francisco Tape Music Collective (a project of sfSound) has been presenting a 3-day festival of fixed media (aka “tape”) compositions annually since 2002. The festival usually takes place in January, but some of us just can’t wait that long. For this concert we present a single evening of tape music projected over a surround-sound system especially tailored to the Center for New Music’s unique architecture.
The program includes some of the “greatest hits” from past festivals, including classic audio art and new fixed media compositions by international composers and SFTMC members.
