Hybrid Modalities: Mills grad students in electroacoustic performance

Graduate students in the “Seminar in Electronic Music Performance” taught by John Bischoff at Mills College will present an evening of recent work. Pieces will make use of myriad sound sources and technologies including contact mics, custom circuits, traditional and non-traditional instruments, and laptops configured in various combinations. The concert will feature performances by Barney Canson, Tate Carson, Alex Cohen, Ingibjorg Fridriksdottir, Dania Luck, Kim Nucci, Ricardo Saavedra, Bergrun Snaebjornsdottir, Kaori Suzuki, and Nathan Wheeler.
