Il Prete Rosso

This concert features new music specialist Sarah Plum in an exciting program of music for violin alone and with electronics by Kurt Rohde, Mari Takano, Sidney Corbett, Jeff Herriot, Andrew List and Mark Engebretson. This program feautures Il Prete Rosso, a piece written for her by Charles Nichols for violin, live electronics and motion sensor was premiered in December at the Cube, a state of the art venue of the Institute for Creativity, Arts and Technology at Virginia Tech.
