This program reflects the talents and interests of these performers, who navigate the landscape of multiple musical styles.
Berkeley flutist Jane Lenoir is an eclectic and genre-busting performer whose credits include premieres and recordings with the Berkeley Contemporary Chamber Players, Mills Group for New Music, Paul Dresher Ensemble, as well as Brazilian and Cuban music.
San Francisco native Anne Rainwater, piano, is a multi-talented artist known for her compelling interpretations of music from Bach to Zorn. A recent graduate of the Manhattan School of Music Master Program in Contemporary Performance, she performed extensively in New York as part of the new music scene before relocating to the Bay Area in 2012.
Brian Rice, percussion, performs with Latin, Brazilian, Celtic, and new music groups throughout the Bay Area, and, along with Jane, is a member of Berkeley Choro Ensemble, which performs traditional and contemporary Brazilian music.
All three performers graduated from Oberlin Conservatory.
