Duo Camaraderie

Flutist Laura Scarlata and Pianist Sharon Lee Kim will present an exciting selection of chamber music, including a trio featuring special guest, cellist Jane Lee. Hear a few of Duo Camaraderie’s favorites, and some new collaborations as well! Duo Camaraderie will perform the lively Sonata for Flute and Piano by Otar Taktakishvili, as well as Nocturne, a haunting piccolo piece depicting feelings of tragic loss, by Bay Area award-winning composer Martin Rokeach. Cellist Jane Lee will join Duo Camaraderie for Hilary Tann’s beautiful and ethereal trio, Gardens of Anna Maria Luisa de Medici. The program will conclude with the rhythmically complex and romantically dramatic Ballade by Frank Martin.
