The focus is on electronic devices that are sculpting electricity so there will be knobs, patch cables and other physical objects in play to surprise, delight, annoy, entertain and hopefully turn on your switch.

Mr. Hatt, who has appeared with the San Francisco Symphony and is currently Assistant Cathedral Organist at San Francisco's St. Mary's Cathedral, presents two sets of solo piano music of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The program includes the First Sonata of Charles E. Ives, academic works by Gregory Kosteck and Homer Keller, creative oddities by Barney Childs, Arthur Farwell and Jim Fox, and other pieces, including Mr. Hatt’s own The Continuous Life.

Tim Perkis and Scott Walton comprise an improvising duo that’s sonically adventurous yet remarkably compatible with one another. Atonal flourishes, pops, smashes, sudden surprising torrid excursions, and low rumbles are tossed around between piano and electronics. Eli Wallace performs a set of compositions that juxtapose divergent yet complimentary musical elements: 20th century classical compositional devices, idiomatic jazz vocabulary, and free improvisation. Specifically, he will debut a three movement piece entitled “Water Row,” and select other pieces from his repertoire.
